Exercise taken from The One Command:
Take a minute to relax while you read the following. Ground and expand your energy. Loosely relax and read as if you were rocking in a boat on the water at the same time.
Now imagine that something mysterious has happened and you have an endless supply of money. Imagine having an endless supply of money. Can you even picture having all the money you can ever imagine? Millions, billions, trillions-an endless supply that replenishes immediately when you spend it. Everything you could ever want or need in cash is yours. There is an endless supply of cash in your life. Endless. There is an endless supply. What can you give yourself, allow yourself to have, with this endless supply? There is an endless supply of money-millions and billions of dollars for you. There is an endless supply. What can you give yourself in your life? What can you imagine giving yourself and having? How would you be? Imagine how would you be. Who are you? Who would you be? What do you look like? How do you dress? Can you give yourself a $5,000 outfit, a $100,000 wardrobe, millions of dollars worth of jewellery, just for the heck of it, just because you can? After you share it with all the people you want to share it with, help all the people you want to help, how are you helping your life? What can you give yourself? Can you give yourself more than one vehicle to drive? How about a chauffeur?
Can you give yourself somebody to drive you around? How about gardeners or housekeepers or cooks, private masseurs or personal trainers, private assistants, wardrobe assistants, what else? Who is there with you sharing in all that? You can spend an endless supply to feed the world, start up a bank and lend to anyone you want to, buy a country, fly to outer space, colonize a planet, you have an endless supply. An endless supply of cash is constantly available. It can never run out. How about an airplane? Want a little, you know, lear jet? They’re only $45,000,000. How about your own island? Who is enjoying it with you? What’s your environment like? What kind of home or homes do you have? Can you imagine having more than one home: a home on the ocean, a home in the mountains, a home on other continents? And what are you doing in the world now that you already have all the money that you would ever need-it is already yours. What are you doing in the world? Who are you now that you have all the money-an endless supply of money? Who are you? Is your identity about needing to struggle to get the money, and you don’t know who you are now that you have it? Or do you know who you are when you have all the money? What else would you like to do? Use your imagination. How much can you imagine is possible? How many people are you loving, laughing with, playing with? What kinds of pets do you have-a menagerie? What’s your life like, as you have all the money-an endless supply? You can have that, too. You have an endless supply. There is no limitation on what you can have, and you have an endless supply of all the cash you could ever want and need. Whenever you want it, it’s there. So simply say to yourself: I agree, I enjoy, thank you.
Now take a moment and close your eyes and imagine that as a possibility.
Was that easy or difficult? Did you limit yourself, tell yourself you shouldn’t, couldn’t, wouldn’t? Or did you go for it?
